The scope of the project was to execute the complete EPCPROMAN solution for the QUSAHWIRA project — covering Isometrics spooling generation, complete material management, project planning, project control, fabrication and erection activities, and final documentation submissions.
The EPCPROMAN team implemented the Integrated Piping Management System for the EPC FOR QUSHAWIRA FIELD DEVELOPMENT PHASE II PROJECT. The following elements highlight how EPCPROMAN enabled the successful completion of the project.
EPCPROMAN software enables detailed project planning and scheduling, allowing projects to create comprehensive timelines, allocate resources, and set milestones. This leads to better project organization and efficient resource allocation.
EPC projects involve multiple stakeholders, including engineering teams, procurement departments, construction crews, and more. EPCPROMAN software facilitates collaboration by providing a centralized platform for data storage, documents, and real-time progress updates. This reduces the chances of miscommunication and improves teamwork.
EPC projects generate a significant volume of documents, including engineering drawings, specifications, test packs, and reports like Fit up, Welding, and NDT. EPCPROMAN software offers document management features that centralize document storage, revision control, and access control, making it easier to manage the project documentation.
EPCPROMAN software provides real-time tracking of project progress, enabling stakeholders to monitor project status including Fabrication inch Dia completion and Erection completion, identify delays, and take corrective actions promptly. Customizable reporting features allow for the creation of comprehensive project reports and dashboards.
Changes are inevitable in projects. EPCPROMAN software helps manage change requests like SCR, FCR, and revision control, assess their impact on the project scope and schedule, and implement changes in a controlled manner.
The system effectively executed robust drawing generation. Spooling was completed for 16,591 ISOs within the deadline at a production rate of 300 ISOs per day. A total of 22,372 ISOs were generated including revision, SCR, and FCR drawings.
Material issuance and inventory control was managed for 5 contractors. Job cards were issued for fabrication and erection workfronts. The first milestone — a 50,000-inch Dia job card delivered ahead of schedule — earned strong client appreciation.
Materials for the critical shutdown task were tracked and arranged three times throughout the project with the aid of the program. A weekly material shortage list was published for the client and the project team.
All data including Fit up, Welding, and NDT reports, along with isometric drawings, test packages, and compliance welder certifications, were stored in a database accessible to the client whenever required. We always delivered reports to client in accordance with their formats after collecting data from the system.
The project incorporated real-time monitoring to see the difference between Planned vs. Actual progress. 3D progress tracking was crucial in winning over the client. Through 3D visualization, the client constantly wants to see actual site development — we successfully integrated this as per the client's request. The client management team was delighted that we exhibited and shared the 3D Model progress with them every week.
The systems were optimized for mobile devices. Offline progress was updated through barcode scanning and it allowed the team to update progress in the system from field locations without internet connectivity.
Maintaining quality standards is essential in EPC projects. The team worked to meet quality requirements and updated the data accordingly. Required reports were submitted to the quality department — Repair % list, NDT summary, NDT % wise report — spec wise, and material traceability was maintained with heat numbers to ensure no challenges arise in the future.

QA/QC compliance — Repair % list, NDT summary, NDT % wise report, spec-wise material traceability with heat numbers
User-friendly interface designed for intuitive navigation without extensive training
Mobile-compatible system with offline barcode scanning and automatic synchronization
Project completion report, progress report, test report, and forecast report delivered on time
Clear Project Goals and Objectives — The project had well-defined goals that were specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. All tasks were identified and noted before starting execution to ensure nothing was missed.
Detailed Project Plan — A comprehensive project plan outlined tasks, timelines, dependencies, resources, and milestones — planned such that even unforeseen hurdles could be overcome.
Competent Project Team — A skilled and motivated team with the necessary expertise was assembled, with clear roles, responsibilities, and a shared understanding of the project's goals.
Effective Leadership and Management — A capable project lead ensured tasks were delegated, progress monitored, and issues addressed promptly, keeping the project on track.
Stakeholder Involvement and Communication — All key players were identified and engaged from the very beginning, maintaining open and consistent communication throughout.
Quality Control — Communication with the QA/QC team was established from the first stage, with output reports completed accordingly and special attention given during the execution phase.
Adaptability and Flexibility — A plan to welcome and rectify uncertain challenges was in place from the initial stage of the project.
Monitoring and Reporting — A strong monitoring system was planned to detect any wrong move during execution, with regular status reports provided to stakeholders.
Documentation — All document transmissions including drawings, job cards, and reports were managed and monitored daily via document transmittal.
Client Satisfaction — The client appreciated the work delivered. All essential reports — project completion report, progress report, test report, and forecast report — were submitted on time.
